Sixty Seconds in the Seat: Why Your Nonprofit Needs Media and Messaging
Sixty Seconds in the Seat: Why Your Nonprofit Needs Media and Messaging
Tuesday, February 6, 2024 (8:30 AM - 11:30 AM) (EST)
Description
When a prospective donor, funder, member of the press, business or new acquaintance asks you about yourself, your organization or your cause, how do you respond? Where, when and how do you use your “elevator pitch”, and what kind of response or results are you getting?
In this workshop, attendees will come to understand the importance of concise messaging, how to master your message, and where your message is best used. Each attendee will be given the opportunity to go into Khanna House’s onsite podcast/YouTube studio and spend “Sixty Seconds in the Seat”, recording your quick pitch to the host of 501cTV, Jennell Harris. Khanna House Studios will then professionally edit your reel and send it to you for use on social media, YouTube Shorts, in newsletters, and wherever your message can help you generate visibility, awareness, and impact! Join us for continental breakfast and networking from 8:30 – 9:00am before the workshop begins.
REGISTER EARLY! Space for this workshop is limited to allow each person studio time to record their pitch reel.
BONUS! Each organization that attends this workshop will be invited to appear on the 501c3TV podcast, a unique and fun way to showcase your cause!
