Sixty Seconds in the Seat: Perfect Your Nonprofit's Pitch
Sixty Seconds in the Seat: Perfect Your Nonprofit's Pitch
Thursday, May 14, 2026 (9:30 AM - 11:30 AM) (EDT)
Description
Do you know how to confidently respond when a prospective donor, funder, member of the press, business contact, or new acquaintance asks, “So, what do you do?”—in a way that keeps the conversation going and clearly communicates who you are and the value you bring?
In this workshop, attendees will learn the power of concise, strategic messaging: how to create their quick pitch, confidently articulate it, and understand where and how it should be used. The session is led by a professional journalist, PR expert, and media contributor, and hosted at a fully equipped content studio.
After mastering their messaging, each attendee will have the opportunity to capture a compelling, polished version of their quick pitch on camera. The Khanna House team will assist with setting up and optimizing your phone for recording and provide a professional backdrop to ensure your phone video is high quality and ready for immediate use.
For organizations that prefer a fully produced option, Khanna House also offers professional recording and editing of the reel for use across social media, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels, newsletters, and other platforms where your message can drive visibility, awareness, and impact. You will have the option to step into Khanna House’s onsite podcast and YouTube studio for “Sixty Seconds in the Seat”—a guided recording session available for an additional $30 fee.
REGISTER EARLY - Space for this workshop is limited to 10 organizations!
