Pitching Your Story in the Digital World
Wednesday, August 26, 2026 (10:00 AM - 11:30 AM) (EDT)
Description
This workshop focuses on helping nonprofits effectively pitch their stories in today’s fast-paced digital media environment. Participants will learn how to uncover and shape compelling narratives that highlight their mission, impact, and community relevance in a way that attracts attention from journalists.
The session will cover modern pitching strategies across digital channels—such as email, social media, and online press platforms—while emphasizing how to cut through the noise with clear, concise, and engaging messaging. Attendees will also gain practical insights on creating media-ready press releases and materials. By the end of the workshop, nonprofit leaders will be equipped with the tools and confidence to build meaningful media relationships.
