Welcome to "Rhinestones & Reels" – a casual, star-studded movie night benefiting the Imagination Library! Join us for an unforgettable evening of cinema, celebration, and community impact as we raise funds to put books into the hands of local children.

 Grab your boots, toss on your favorite sparkle, and join us for a fun, laid-back evening celebrating storytelling. Whether you want to mix and mingle at our pre-show cocktail social, sit back for the exclusive film screening, or get the inside scoop during an intimate post-film chat with the director, we have a ticket option tailored just for you. Every ticket helps write a brighter future for kids in our community!

 Schedule of Events 

5:30 PM | Pre-Show Cocktail Reception – Mingle, sip themed drinks, and enjoy the casual vibe. 

6:30 PM | "Rhinestones & Reels" Feature Screening – Lights down, curtains up! 

8:15 PM | Post-Film Director Q&A – An exclusive, casual conversation with the filmmaker. 

Choose Your Experience: 

The Director’s Cut (VIP Pass): Includes the cocktail reception, premium screening seats, and the post-film Q&A. 

Sips & Screening Ticket: Includes the pre-show cocktail reception and movie admission. 

Reels Only Ticket ($15 Suggested Donation): Includes movie admission only. 

How Your Donation Helps:

Every ticket purchased for Rhinestones & Reels directly funds early childhood literacy right here in our community. While The Dollywood Foundation manages the massive book selection and distribution system, local champions like the Palm Beach County Imagination Library are responsible for covering the cost of the books and shipping. Without local sponsors, kids in our area cannot receive them. Because of the program's global scale, the cost to print and mail each high-quality book is incredibly low--just about $2.60 per book, or $31 to sponsor a child for an entire year! 

How your ticket donation translates into local impact:

🎬 1 "Reels Only" Ticket ($15 Suggested Donation): Lands 6 brand-new books straight into a child's home mailbox. 

🥂 1 "Sips & Screening" Ticket ($31 Suggested Donation): Fully sponsors 1 local child for an entire year. 

✨ 1 "Director’s Cut" VIP Ticket: Sponsors five children for a full year, building a foundation of literacy before they ever step foot in a kindergarten classroom. 

Why it matters: Nearly half of third grade students in Palm Beach County read below grade level. Studies show that children enrolled in the Imagination Library arrive at school with significantly higher kindergarten-readiness skills than those not enrolled in the program. Kindergarten readiness strongly predicts third grade reading success, and children who start behind often struggle to catch up. A child enrolled at birth can build a home library of up to 60 books before he or she starts kindergarten, including reading tips that helps caregivers get the most out of shared reading time.
