Palm Beach Symphony Masterworks #1: Zwilich, Dvorak, Mussorgsky, Ravel
Sunday, November 10, 2024 (3:00 PM - 5:00 PM) (EST)
Description
Coming from a dynasty of revered classical musicians, cellist Julian Schwarz will grace the stage with his father and our Music Director, Gerard Schwarz, performing one of the greatest cello concertos of all time composed by DvoĆák. The program builds to the ultimate Pictures at an Exhibition by Mussorgsky that was later orchestrated by Ravel, a symphonic homage and musical depiction of Mussorgsky’s dear friend Victor Hartmann’s artwork.
