Annual reports don’t have to be boring. In fact, when done right, they can be one of your nonprofit’s most powerful storytelling and relationship-building tools.

In this workshop, we will walk through the do’s and don’ts of designing an annual report that gets read, shared, and acted upon, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned nonprofit pro.

You’ll learn how to organize your content, simplify your design, and communicate your impact clearly.

Participants will leave with:

  • A clear understanding of what makes an annual report effective and what gets in the way.
  • Mini Annual Report Outline
  • Guidance on how to balance data, stories, visuals, and donor recognition.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER

Dawn Burke is a graphic designer, illustrator, and the creative force behind Dawn of Designs, where she helps nonprofits and purpose-driven organizations bring their ideas to life through clear, compelling design. With more than 25 years of experience, Dawn specializes in annual reports, gala materials, publications, and custom illustration that make information easy to understand and impossible to ignore. She’s partnered with nonprofits, marketing consultants, and mission-focused brands across Florida and beyond, translating their stories into design that inspires action.
