The session will focus on building effective partnerships and collaborations within the nonprofit sector and is designed to support nonprofit leaders in moving beyond informal collaboration toward intentional, strategic partnerships that strengthen mission impact and organizational sustainability.

Session focus includes:

• Understanding the role of partnerships in nonprofit growth and capacity building

• Identifying when collaboration is appropriate versus when it creates mission drift

• Assessing partnership readiness and organizational fit

• Clarifying expectations, roles, and accountability in partnerships

• Practical guidance on partnership structures, including when to use MOUs versus contracts

The session will emphasize real-world application, peer discussion, and practical tools participants can immediately apply within their organizations.
